Travel Health
Bridge View Medical Travel Clinic
Understanding what vaccinations you need before you go away is important to ensure that you have adequate protection from foreign illnesses that are not common in the UK.
The NHS can provide some boosters and vaccines free of charge. The following can be administered at Bridge View Medical.
- Polio
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A
- Cholera
If you require other travel vaccinations, not on the list above, you will need to arrange to have these through a private travel health clinic.
Please allow as much time as possible to arrange your travel appointment with the BVM travel clinic. It is important to make this appointment as early as possible – at least eight weeks before you travel. Your vaccination will need to be given at least two weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines time to work, and you may require more than one dose.
Please complete the form below and email to bnssg.bvm.travelclinic@nhs.net to request an appointment.
Please note:
- Appointments are subject to availability and vaccine stock availability
- We book these appointments in the order that we receive your completed travel form. We do not prioritise by travel date. This may mean that we do not have any appointments available to book within your timeframe.
- Please ensure that you cancel your BVM travel clinic appointment if it is no longer required so that we can offer the appointment to another patient instead of wasting it.
- If the BVM travel clinic is unable to offer you an appointment, please find an alternative provider- there is some information and local providers below.
