Appointment requests will be looked at by one of our clinical team. You will then be contacted by text message or telephone. You may sometimes be given advice about self care or advised to discuss your concerns with your local pharmacist. If our clinical team feel that an appointment is necessary, you may be offered either a same day appointment for urgent problems or a routine appointment if it is less urgent.
Klinik can also be used for a range of other request including the following:
- Medication requests (although the NHS app is also a good option if you have this).
- Admin enquiries - change of details, test results, sick notes and referral advice
- Changing or cancelling appointments.

When you contact the surgery, if offered an appointment, you will be offered an appointment with the person who is best placed to help your needs. There are lots of different kinds of healthcare professionals working in your GP surgery, besides your GP. They each have distinct roles and specialist skills. You may even be referred to a community pharmacy. Community pharmacies offer patients quick and convenient access to safe and high quality healthcare.
