‘Klinik’ our online enquiry system explained
We kindly ask that you use the system as your primary means of contacting us if you can.
The benefits
- It captures the vast majority of enquiry types
- You can complete it at your own pace
- You avoid queuing on the phone
- The enquiry goes direct to the relevant team, avoiding passing messages on
- All health enquiries are triaged through an experienced GP to ensure you get a timely response
Over 80% of our patients are using Klinik. And more than 80% of those patients rate their ‘Klinik experience’ as good or very good.
As a result, we have a more efficient operation. Channeling all enquiries through one system, which collects the relevant information, and funneling all health queries through one experienced triage, means we can answer 2000 more calls a month and 7000 more online enquiries.
Over 90% of patients are receiving an appointment within 2 weeks of making the enquiry. The average call wait time has also fallen by 17 minutes and continues to fall.
Please note Klinik is open 7.30am to 12noon Monday to Friday to submit enquiries. If you have an urgent matter in the afternoon please call or speak with someone at reception.
Together we are making a more efficient service so please continue to use Klinik.
How it works
Follow the link above to start a patient enquiry.
This will redirect you to the Klinik server, so the web address changes and it looks different to our site. but you will notice Bridge View Medical-Bristol at the top of the page and within the web address throughout.
- The first page simply checks you should not be referring your enquiry to the emergency services.
- The second page is simply an introduction.
- The third page starts the enquiry.
Please select the relevant tile, you may have to then select a sub-tile to start the process. Then simply complete the answers as prompted and click submit.
- Appointment enquiries are reviewed by the GP Triager.
- You will then be contacted via text message or telephone with an appointment or you may be given advice about self care or advised to discuss your concerns with your local pharmacist. If our clinical team feel that an appointment is necessary, you may be offered either a same day appointment for urgent problems or a routine appointment if it’s deemed less urgent.
Klinik can also be used for a range of other requests, including the following:
- Medication requests (although the NHS app is also a good option if you have this).
- Admin enquiries - change of details, test results, sick notes and referral advice
- Changing or cancelling appointments
