Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP's)

Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP's) work with patients to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses using the same methods available to the GP team.

ANP's are able to assess and carry out physical examinations in order to define a treatment plan for patients.
They are also able to order investigations and prescribe medication where appropriate.
