We are open to receive applications for full time or part time work if you can meet either of the following working patterns:

Full time: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday
8:15am to 6:45pm (4 days x 10 hour working day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Part time: Monday - Friday PM: 1:15pm to 6:45pm (minimum 3 afternoons per week).

Job summary

As a Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering high quality healthcare services for all BVM patients. The role is the primary point of contact for patients, acting as the main interface between our Practice and secondary & community care services. You will work collaboratively with GPs and other clinical & non-clinical staff in managing the integrated care system at BVM.

The role also involves some reception duties, and involves receiving, assisting and directing patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, polite, efficient and effective way, projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone, online appointment booking system and triaging them to the appropriate clinician using our EMIS system.

As part of the role you shall also provide general admin assistance to the Practice team in various day to day operations. Previous experience of working in a GP surgery / customer care role will be an advantage.
We have 5 branch surgeries within south Bristol so the ability to work flexibly across all sites is essential as is the requirement to work the occasional evening &/or Saturday mornings
