Patient Participation Group

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients who work together to provide feedback on services and help to spread the word about changes coming to the surgery.

They make sure patients are involved in important decisions.

The group is highly valuable in ensuring we involve our patient population in decisions being taken and is an opportunity for our patients to have a say!

We are always on the hunt for enthusiastic and willing members of our community to feedback on services that they receive from us. To be truly representative we need members of different faiths and cultural heritage, carers and young people.

If you think you would like to get involved, you can email the group at bvm.patientgroup@gmail.com . Or you can give your details to a member of the Reception team to pass on.

The full group meets formally every three months but between meetings the Chair and Vice Chair have regular meetings with our Practice Manager to consider ongoing or new issues, hear about proposed changes and make sure that all members are involved in important decisions. Contributions to topics for discussion are invited from members in advance and meeting notes are circulated.

We hope to see you soon!

You can find minutes of formal meetings below.
